November 17 2025 | Seminar: Introduction to LLMs & Agentic AI - part 1 Slide presentation & interactive discussion. Goal: Gain a high-level understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI.
December 04 2025 | Seminar: Introduction to LLMs & Agentic AI - part 2
February 24 2026 1-3pm | Workshop: Introduction to GitHub (in collaboration with the SSC)
Access GitHub Pro features including GitHub Copilot.

**March 2026 (day TBD) | Workshop: Chatbots & IDEs
This workshop builds on the GitHub workshop to introduce chatbots integrated into IDEs (e.g., VS Code + GitHub Copilot).
It bridges the use of online chatbots with local coding environments.

April 2026 (day TBD) | Workshop: Using AI coding assistants
Following up from the introduction to VS Code & GitHub Copilot, learn how to use AI coding assistants to
generate, fix, and explain code. We will use examples in R for this workshop, as it is the language used by most in the department, based on the survey results.
May 2026 (day TBD) | Workshop: Accessing LLMs via APIs
Following up from the introduction to VS Code & GitHub Copilot, learn to use LLMs programmatically through APIs.
